Well, I’ve made it through the first week of summer vacation and all my boys are still living and breathing. That in itself is an accomplishment. This summer is going to be a short one though as we had so many snow days this winter the boys will be back in school on August 26th. This makes summer vacation two weeks shorter than usual. Which is a good
thing...you know, less learning loss = ) If your kids are driving you crazy too, check out my free
coloring page, and give them
something to do!
I’m hoping by now that everyone has had
a chance to pick up a copy of Faerie
Magazine. The spring issue contains a
free pattern and photo tutorial for a
western dragon! The marketplace at
Faerie Magazine will also be offering
my hand-dyed kits, available on their
website soon,
visit www.faeriemagazine.com and
click on marketplace. I will also
be joining Faerie Magazine at Faeriecon this year in Philadelphia, PA. Come by and say Hi! Look for the summer issue and a brand new tutorial from me in July!

Now, I wanted to remind you of a pattern designed for a special little girl. A Dragon for Celeste was designed as a charity pattern. $2.00 of each sale is donated to the National Tay-Sachs & Allied Diseases Association, Inc. (NTSAD) . NTSAD is dedicated to the treatment and prevention of Tay-Sachs, Canavan and related genetic diseases, and to providing information and support services to individuals and families affected. This includes research, family services, genetic screening, education and advocacy. You can visit their site at www.ntsad.org. So far I have donated over $40.00. Let’s see if we can spread the word and get that total over $100 this July!
